With regenerative braking, once the driver lifts their foot from the accelerator, the starter-alternator immediately converts the vehicle's kinetic energy into electrical energy, which in turn recharges the battery. This battery is specially designed for high charge acceptance to absorb those bursts of power when braking.
The SS40TL has huge cranking power even at low charge, extreme vibration resistance, and up to four times the cycle life of flooded MF Car batteries. It's also 100% leak / spill-proof, making it exempt from "Dangerous Goods" classification.
