Lithium Golf Amplus Ultra Series 51.2V105Ah Universal - Comes with Bluetooth build-in Active balance and Extinguisher
Description
- Description
The Lithium Golf Amplus Ultra Series 51.2V 105Ah is the long range 48V lithium conversion kit in the Amplus Ultra range, built around a 16 cell LiFePO4 pack with Bluetooth monitoring, active cell balancing and built in fire suppression. At 105Ah it carries around 5.4kWh, which suits carts that work long days rather than a single round.
What you get with the Lithium Golf Amplus Ultra Series 51.2V 105Ah kit
Each Amplus Ultra Series 51.2V 105Ah kit is supplied as a matched package: the 51.2V 105Ah LiFePO4 battery, the Lithium Golf colour screen gauge, an RCM authorised Lithium Golf charger, and the mounting hardware for your chosen cart. Lithium Golf batteries are designed to be charged only with Lithium Golf branded chargers, so buying the kit as a set keeps the pack, charger and gauge matched to one another.
Four fitment options are available: on-board charger kits, Club Car kits, Yamaha kits and E-Z-GO RXV kits.
Bluetooth monitoring on the Amplus Ultra Series 51.2V 105Ah
The Amplus Ultra Series 51.2V 105Ah has Bluetooth built in, so you can check the pack from your phone rather than reading the gauge alone. The app reports state of charge, pack voltage, individual cell voltages, the highest and lowest cell, and the difference between them. Warnings are raised for cell loss, high temperature, low temperature, overcharge, over discharge and low voltage.
Bluetooth also supports RTS, the Lithium Golf remote technical support service, which lets the Lithium Golf team run diagnostics on the pack without the cart leaving site. On a hire fleet or a course cart, that is the difference between a phone call and a service visit.
Fire suppression built into the Amplus Ultra Series 51.2V 105Ah
The Amplus Ultra Series 51.2V 105Ah carries Fire Suppression Technology. If excessive heat or a fire is detected near the battery, the system discharges a chemical agent through the inside of the case, displacing oxygen within the enclosure to slow the spread of a thermal event.
This sits on top of the safety already inherent to LiFePO4 chemistry, which is more thermally stable than the nickel and cobalt lithium chemistries used in many consumer packs. For carts stored in sheds, cart barns or under buildings, that layered approach is worth having.
BMS and active balancing in the Amplus Ultra Series 51.2V 105Ah
The Amplus Ultra Series 51.2V 105Ah uses Lithium Golf's relay based battery management system with a pluggable BMS module, which makes diagnosis and service far simpler than a potted unit. The relay design is intended to handle the high regenerative currents a cart produces on descents without dropping out and shutting the cart down mid round.
Active balancing works continuously to keep the 16 cells matched, rather than only bleeding off the highest cell at the top of a charge. A tighter cell spread means more of the pack's rated capacity is usable and the pack ages more evenly, which matters most on a large pack that is cycled hard.
Protection includes thermal cut outs, short circuit protection, over current limits on both charge and discharge, and a sleep mode that engages after an hour below 1A of draw. Charging or discharging at more than 1A wakes the pack again.
Discharge performance of the Amplus Ultra Series 51.2V 105Ah
The Amplus Ultra Series 51.2V 105Ah delivers 200A continuously, which is roughly 10kW at nominal voltage, and will peak at 500A for up to 3 seconds. That headroom is what you feel pulling away on a slope or setting off with a full cart, and it is the reason a lithium conversion transforms hill climbing rather than simply saving weight.
Because the 105Ah pack is drawing the same current from a larger cell bank, each cell works less hard for the same job. On a cart that spends its day climbing, that is easier on the pack over the long run than asking a smaller battery for the same output.

Who the Amplus Ultra Series 51.2V 105Ah suits
The 105Ah Amplus Ultra is the pack to choose when a 67Ah would be worked too hard: hire fleets, resort and course carts, hilly properties, carts carrying tools or passengers, and private owners who want to play several rounds between charges. Repeatedly taking any pack past 80 percent depth of discharge within a 24 hour period shortens its life and falls outside the warranty, so sizing up is usually cheaper than replacing early.

Charging and storing the Amplus Ultra Series 51.2V 105Ah
- Charge after each use rather than running the pack flat and charging from empty.
- Do not charge the battery below 0°C.
- Connect the charger to the cart first, then switch on at the wall. Reverse the order when you finish, switching off at the wall before unplugging the cart.
- Never unplug the charger at the cart while charging is in progress, as this can arc inside the plug or receptacle.
- If the cart will sit for more than seven days, charge to 100 percent, switch off the main battery switch and unplug all loads, including the gauge.
- In long term storage, bring the pack back to 100 percent every six months.
